First Inclinometer with PROFIsafe Interface
TWK is the first sensor manufacturer to offer an inclinometer for SIL2/PLd applications with PROFIsafe via a PROFINET interface. The inclinometer has a measuring range of up to -90°…+90°, and can be supplied with one or even two measurement axes. Its resolution is 0.01°. Thanks to a redundant sensor system and additional internal monitoring measures, the NBT/S3 achieves a classification in SIL2 or performance level D. The integrated 2-port switch enables line, tree and ring topologies. LEDs for supply voltage, link and status facilitate commissioning and fault finding.
Sinamics V-converters with New Frame Size and PROFINET Connectivity
Siemens is extending its Sinamics frequency converter portfolio for standard applications Sinamics V20 to include a new frame size, the FSAC in the voltage range 1AC (Alternating Current) 200 V to 240 V 1.1 kW to 1.5 kW. FSAC is replacing the previous FSB frame (1AC 200V). 40% more compact than its predecessor, the new frame size offers even more flexible and exceptional space-saving application possibilities.
There have also been some innovations in the Sinamics V90 servo drive portfolio, where the smallest frame size FSA is now also available as a PROFINET version for 0.1 and 0.2 kW, which are covered by frame size FSB at the moment. These changes have enabled the footprint to be reduced by 10 millimeters, making the V90 FSA frame 18% smaller. It is now also possible to transmit process and diagnostic data over the PROFINET interface in real time using a single cable.

The VPT10 is a pressure transmitter with high performance capacitive sensor, designed for differential, absolute and gauge pressure measurements, as well as models for level applications: flanged, remote seal, and sanitary options. The VPT10 is available with a PROFIBUS PA interface.
