Balluff: SmartCamera, Robust Vision in a Simple Package

The SmartCamera simplifies overall usability in an otherwise complex world of vision-based technology, while still delivering a robust assortment of features like flexible connectivity and intuitive on-board image processing tools. The SmartCamera is also the most connected camera available. With an on-board IO-Link master in addition to PROFINET, TCP, and UDP communication, this camera can be integrated into any major control network. Balluff’s commitment to vision as a solution includes offering a full line of accessories required to address applications in the industrial manufacturing environment. This broad offering includes optics, lighting, displays, mounting hardware and power supplies along with a wide range of IO-Link products which can be directly controlled by the SmartCamera.

Banner Engineering: New iVu Color Sensors

The new iVu Color Sensors from Banner Engineering enable inspections based on color or variations in color, as well as type, size, orientation, or position. Compact and easy-to-use, iVu Color vision sensors are available in models with an integrated or remote touchscreen.  Available with Profinet Communication.

Application Flexibility: In addition to the Match, Area, Blemish, and Sort sensor types standard to iVu Series Vision Sensors, iVu Color Sensors feature three new sensor types: Average Color, Color Area, and Color Compare
Increased Uptime: iVu Series Vision Sensors can store up to 30 inspections. Inspection parameters can be changed while inspections are in progress without stopping and restarting processes.
Ease of Use: iVu Color Sensors feature touch screen operation, have a graphical user interface, and menu-driven tools that make it easy to setup, manage, and monitor inspections without a PC.

Phoenix Contact: New Axioline F I/O Power Measurement Module

Acquire precise energy and power data with the Axioline F I/O system. The new AXL F PM EF 1F power measurement module is a new addition to the Axioline F portfolio. The standard parameters for detecting energy and performance data are preset to facilitate easy startup. If necessary, these parameters can be changed using PDI objects. For many use cases, voltages up to 400 V/690 V and phase currents and a neutral conductor current of up to 5 A can be directly connected without a transducer. If this is not sufficient, external transducers are added to expand the measuring ranges.

Phoenix Contact: Safety Switch System with IO-Link

The new safety switch system from Phoenix Contact consists of
a contact-free, coded PSRswitch safety switch and the PSRmini safety relay with IO-Link. The electronic safety switch is used for reliable safety door and position monitoring in machines and production systems. The switch with M12 connection technology features a compact design and can be mounted on doors and guards particularly flexible. Thanks to the integrated RFID technology, it provides maximum protection against manipulation for a high level of safety.

Wago: Industrial Switches, lots of Power with PoE+

Within automation networks – especially complex ones – any cable that can be eliminated reduces wiring effort to saves space, labor, and material costs. And this is precisely what WAGO’s new Power-over-Ethernet switches can do for any size of network. The 5- and 8-port switches provide 1 Gbit data transfer. The switches also offer intelligent, energy-saving operation. Here “Efficient Ethernet” means continually adapting and optimizing performance based on the prevailing data volume. Targeting real-time Ethernet systems currently used within general automation technology, WAGO’s switches meet the requirements of PROFINET Conformance Class A
