Two successful events took place in Germany in September. A PROFIsafe user workshop hosted the PROFIsafe Working Group, 12 exhibitors, speakers and 33 workshop participants at HMS. Also, over 90 representatives from 43 international businesses gathered in Bad Soden for the latest IO-Link interoperability workshop.
The 2018 PI technologies node count indicates a stongly positive trend in broad acceptance and implementation. IO-Link and PROFIsafe pass a milestone and PROFINET reaches 26 million devices.
