Master Simulators from Bihl+Wiedemann are simple, universal tools for commissioning as well as for testing slaves within systems. In addition to PROFIBUS Master Simulators (BW1131, BW1257, BW1258) Bihl+Wiedemann now also offers Master Simulators for PROFINET (BW3035 and BW3057).
The new PROFINET Master Simulators – software-only solutions – are able to exchange 
data with many PROFINET Slaves without using a PROFINET Master.
Furthermore, the PROFINET Master Simulators also process GSD-files as well as the input of special configurations in order to start the data exchange with PROFINET Slaves. Even identification, renaming as well as address assignment of PROFINET Slaves can be carried out.
The data, in particular the diagnostic function, can be displayed binary, hexadecimal and now also as ASCII code. That way, output data can be transmitted consistently.
In addition, PROFINET Master Simulator BW3057 supports PROFIsafe modules as well as a log function of the I/O data and allows operations in the acyclic mode.
