It will be a day reserved for updates and the telling of different application cases of the technology that is revolutionizing industrial automation, with exponential growth demonstrating the confidence and enthusiasm of the industry. For those already familiar with it, and for those who want to learn more about its uses and benefits, the event will be an opportunity to take a closer look at a technology that, in the space of just over 10 years, has doubled in number of nodes. The theme of IO-Link is constantly evolving -from increasingly advanced technologies to high-performance, high-impact applications. In the 2024 edition of IO-Link Day we will find topics such as: safety, smart profile, AI, wireless and machine learning.
A Reference Standard
Industry confidence and enthusiasm toward IO-Link continues to grow, reinforcing its role as a reference standard in industrial automation. This development is supported by the many technological advantages offered by IO-Link, but above all it is fueled by one of the most representative communities in the field of industrial communication.
Cristian Sartori, president of Consorzio PI Italia, comments thus on the approach of an event that looks set to take on an increasingly prominent role in the field.
“Consorzio is excited to announce the second event dedicated to IO-Link. Just on the track of last year’s huge success, we want to create an event that is even more engaging and informative. In fact, we will talk about all the novelties of IO-Link technology through the telling of numerous case stories. We therefore invite you to discover how this technology can support your business and increase the efficiency of industrial automation.”

The day will begin at 9:30 a.m., following an initial introduction to the proceedings by the president of Consorzio PI Italia, with a series of speeches by professionals who will share data and industry best practices to benefit the IO-Link community International.
