With several millions of installed nodes, the PROFIsafe technology has established itself in the market in a leading position in fieldbus-based safe communication systems. Due to the huge dissemination of PROFIsafe technology, the need for PROFIsafe specialists is steadily increasing. One of the general safety principles is the systematic training and education of those people. Thus, PI is offering a PROFIsafe Designer Workshop which provides you an insight in all aspects of design and usage cases of PROFIsafe. The intended audience is developers of PROFIsafe devices.
Agenda:
Day 1: Introduction to PROFIsafe: background, protocol design, features, history, new features in PROFIsafe V2.6 MU2 (BaseID)
Day 2: Standards for Functional Safety: IEC and ISO standards, design processes, calculations
Day 3: Implementation of PROFIsafe devices: PROFIsafe starter kit, parameters, GSD, test and certification
Participants who have attended all three training days will receive an official participation confirmation signed by PI.
