omlox Core Zone Certification Announced
ZIGPOS GmbH is pleased to announce the successful certification of its latest product line CORIVA. The products CorivaTag Plus, CorivaTag (both trackers) and CorivaSat (positioning satellite) as well as the software CorivaEngine were the first to meet the strict requirements of omlox certification and are thus the first “omlox air 8 ready” devices on the market. Following intensive testing by the omlox test laboratory at Fraunhofer IOSB-INA, all products have received certification.
IO-Link Hub for Standard Applications
Turck is expanding its IO-Link portfolio with a compact IO-Link hub with 16 universal digital inputs and outputs. The TBIL-EMN-16DXP enables the economical connection of digital signals via IO-Link, especially for applications without increased requirements in terms of current carrying capacity or shock resistance. The 16 universal ports of the TBIL-EMN-16DXP can be flexibly used as inputs or outputs without a configuration. With a maximum output current of 350 mA per channel, the hub reliably meets the requirements of typical industrial applications.
Next Generation Capacitive Sensors
With the new BC/UC series, Turck is expanding its portfolio of capacitive sensors to meet the increasing demands for flexibility, cost efficiency and digital integration. Turck will initially offer sensors with diameters of 18 and 30 mm in metal and plastic housings. The latter can be used for both flush and non-flush installation – with just one device type. The integration of IO-Link enables simple parameterization, diagnostics and commissioning.
New Discrete AC Input Modules with PROFINET
Acromag has added a new discrete AC input module, the Model NT2140, to their BusWorks® NT I/O family. This new discrete I/O module provides six 120V or 240V AC optocoupler inputs for sensing the presence or absence of voltage plus two DC logic I/O channels to monitor/control TTL or 0-32V logic levels. Applications include monitoring on/off levels of pumps, motors, switches (e.g. proximity, limit, float, toggle), push buttons, thermostats, contact closures, and AC voltage power supply levels on a wide variety of equipment. A network interface supports PROFINET to communicate with programmable logic controllers.
Electric Actuators with PROFINET
Flowserve Limitorque is introducing PROFINET into both the A and B series of their MX (multi-turn) and QX (quarter-turn) electric actuators. The full suite of PROFINET features are supported: PROFINET IRT, line and ring (MRP) topologies, S2 system redundancy, dual RJ45 or terminal block connectors. The Limitorque electric actuators are designed for a wide range of environmental applications in power, oil & gas, and water industries.
