Flexible Decentralized Control Unit for Industry
The new RAFI Group‘s E-BOX XL IO-LINK expands the possibilities for decentralized control units in mechanical and plant engineering, robotics, and intralogistics. With just one IO-Link port, up to six components, including illuminated pushbuttons, selector switches, key switches, acoustic signaling devices, and emergency stop components, can be connected. The IO-Link variant features a robust design with IP65 protection and a wide operating temperature range from -25 °C to +60 °C, making it ideal for demanding environments.
New IO-Link Masters on the Market
The ET 200AL I/O system from Siemens gets two new IO-Link masters, which have now been granted delivery release. The IO-Link Master CM 4x IO-Link features four IO-Link (Class B or Class A) ports in a slim 30mm wide housing. The 2L+ load voltage can be switched off for safety reasons up to SIL 2 / Cat 3 /PL d. The IO-Link Master CM 8x IO-Link features 6x IO-Link Class A ports A and 2x IO-Link Class B ports. Additionally, 6x DIQ (standard digital channels) can be configured.
Electronic Fuse with IO-Link
The TBIF series from TURCK is an intelligent, electronic fuse in a robust IP67 housing for 24VDC power supply in the field. It selectively protects loads up to 4 A and enables fuse protection from 16 to 4 A for modular machine concepts without a control cabinet. Via IO-Link, the fuse offers remote reset, diagnostics, and status monitoring of voltage and current; the channels can be switched on and off.
