SPS 2025 has shown once again: the world of automation is moving faster than ever – and we are right in the middle of it. Industrial AI and digital twins were the big buzzwords at the fair. But one thing is clear: nothing works without reliable data supply. From Ethernet-APL / Single Pair Ethernet, and IO-Link to vertical communication solutions and network architectures based on IEC/IEEE 60802 – we provide the foundation that turns innovation into reality.
Cybersecurity is not an add-on for us, but an integral part of our approach. PROFINET Security is at the heart of this: Class 1 is already in use, and specifications for Class 2/3 are in progress – including plugfests and proofs of concept. This is how we create scalable security.
Preparing for the fair was intense: How do we present the wide range of technologies and innovations in the best possible way? How do we design a modern, appealing booth while keeping costs under control? Thanks to our fantastic trade fair team, we made it happen – a heartfelt thank you!
SPS is more than a stage for innovation. It is the place for direct exchange – with the community and with users. We listen, take feedback seriously, and drive technology forward together. That’s how progress works.
After the fair, it’s time to take a breath – and then keep going. Turning impulses into concrete solutions, sharing knowledge – because progress should not stay in Nuremberg.
