Shock Proof Inductive Couplers with IO-Link

Turck has updated its inductive coupler sets and now also offers additional functions such as selective pairing in addition to improved performance. With a startup time of 600 ms, the NIC couplers enable shorter production cycles and thus increased productivity. With IO-Link COM3, the NIC couplers support the maximum data transmission rate of 230.4 kbps. The robust couplers resist high shock loads and transfer 18 W of power via a 7 mm air interface.

HF Read/Write Head with PROFINET S2 System Redundancy

Turck‘s new HF read/write head with an integrated multiprotocol Ethernet interface adds an efficient solution with unique features in terms of startup time, communication and safety to the existing RFID portfolio. With a startup time of less than 500 milliseconds, the TNSLR-Q130-EN is ideal for highly dynamic applications such as tool changes in which every second counts. The integrated PROFINET S2 system redundancy also enables redundant communication between two controllers in a Profinet network, which provides a considerable safety benefit.

Signal Lamps and Control Box with IO-Link

With new types of its outdoor-capable E-BOX control units and TILTED DIAMOND+ signal lamps, RAFI offers two new product families with IO-Link. The E-BOX IO-LINK makes it possible to integrate switches and key switches for simple control tasks into any field bus. Similar to the E-BOX, the RGB-LED signal lamp from the TILTED DIAMOND+ series, with its M12 connector and IO-Link parameterization, is also fast and easy to install.

Small and Powerful Managed Switch with PROFINET

Indu-Sol has developed the PROmesh B8 compact, a managed switch with 8 ports. This further development of the established PROmesh B8 line revolutionizes the way industrial control cabinets can be designed. The “little one” in the control cabinet with dimensions of 100 x 50 x 60 mm (HxWxD) offers space savings of up to 80% compared to standard managed switches with comparable performance.

Space-Saving Speed Monitors with IO-Link

The new DI1600-series of speed monitors from ifm electronic offer a space-saving yet versatile solution for monitoring the speed of rotating shafts in a wide range of applications from conveyor systems to centrifuges. DI1600 monitors combine a pulse-generating inductive sensor with speed evaluation circuitry in the same compact M18 housing, which, thanks to its robust metal construction, requires no additional impact protection. Parameterization can be performed via the IO-Link connection, which also provides access to speed values and allows current settings to be checked.

Flexible Robot Cable for PROFINET

HARTING offers its customers the new PROFINET Type R cable in many different configurations. Thanks to their IP65/67 protection, the established M12 D-coded cable assemblies can be used directly on a robot. The PROFINET Type R cable is an addition to the balanced 2-pair cabling for robotic applications. The definition of the Type R cable fills a gap for dynamic applications. This cable is designed to combine resistances against horizontal and torsion influences.

Photoelectric Laser Sensors with IO-Link

Carlo Gavazzi presents its new series of IO-Link photoelectric laser sensors, the LD30…PBR…IO. The main features include selectable background or foreground suppression, and a sensing distance of 100, 300 or 600 mm. These sensors have a Ø 1mm focused visible red laser beam and are Laser class 1, capable of detecting small objects over long distances or close to a background. They are available in plastic or stainless steel AISI316L housings, with IP69K and ECOLAB approvals, with either a 2 m cable or an M8 4-pin connector.

New Capacitive Measurement Controller with PROFINET

Micro-Epsilon has further expanded its capaNCDT 62xx range of multi-channel capacitive controllers with the addition of the DT6240 controller with an integrated PROFINET interface. The controller is compatible with all sensors and cables from the capaNCDT series of capacitive displacement sensors from Micro-Epsilon. As well as an attractive price-performance ratio, the DT6240-PROFINET controller has a modular design that allows it to be expanded at any time by up to four measuring channels.

Power Supply with IO-Link

With SITOP PSU8400, Siemens presents a highly reliable power supply with IO-Link that puts it values on display – right at the device on a display and remotely via IO-Link. SITOP PSU8400 offers more convenience when parameterizing, monitoring, and diagnosing, high power reserves, a small footprint, and an efficiency level of up to 96%. The SITOP PSU8400 communication-capable power supply can be conveniently parameterized and monitored remotely via the integrated IO-Link interface. However, parameterization and diagnostics can also be performed on-site right at the device on the display.

PoE Switches with PROFINET Built-in

The complete package makes it easier to integrate IO-Link Safety technology into plant and machinery.

Pneumatic Positioning with IO-Link

The new type of pneumatic positioning device (PPD) from SCHUNK allows free pneumatic positioning with pneumatic grippers – with a simple set-up of gripper, sensor, and positioning device. Thanks to prefabricated PLC function blocks, commissioning is also very simple. It was developed as an accessory for pneumatic grippers and is controlled via IO-Link. An IO-Link sensor by SCHUNK or all common analog sensors from other suppliers can be connected to the PPD.
