Growing PROFINET over Ethernet-APL Field Device Portfolio

Endress+Hauser has already released PROFINET over Ethernet-APL devices for measuring pressure, level and temperature in the last months. Besides the new Micropilot FMR6xB, the Cerabar and Deltabar PMx5xBPMx7xB as well as iTemp TMT86, Endress+Hauser now also offers Coriolis mass flowmeters Promass 300/500 and electromagnetic flowmeters Promag 300/500. The devices are PI certified and available with a global coverage of hazardous area approvals. Vortex flowmeters will follow in the near future.

New Vacuum Grippers with IO-Link

COVAL‘s range of vacuum grippers is based on two complementary solutions. The CVGL is characterized by its lightness and is available as standard in several lengths, power ratings, and gripping interfaces. The MVG, on the other hand, offers the possibility of configuring the gripper to allow it to be perfectly adapted to each application by determining the length, width, gripping interface, and vacuum generator. COVAL’s new generation of vacuum grippers now incorporate the latest CMS HD series of vacuum pumps. The VX pump version features an IO-Link communication interface.

Chemical Metering and Dosing Pump with PROFINET

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions has launched the Qdos H-FLO chemical metering and dosing pump, designed specifically for higher flow rates from 2.0 mL/min to 600 L/h. The pump also comes with RFID Pumphead detection to ensure confirmation of correct pumphead; a revolution counter for pumphead service maintenance; leak detection and fluid containment to prevent spills and chemical exposure upon pumphead expiry; network integration, control and communication options include PROFINET and PROFIBUS for easy integration with a SCADA or PLC.

Intelligent Vision Sensor with IO-Link

Multicode readers in the new O2I4xx range from ifm electronic can evaluate multiple 1D/2D codes and texts in a single image and send the results direct IO-Link, making them easy to integrate with control and supervisory systems. The O2I4xx range includes multicode readers with an integral RGBW light source, as well as red light and infrared versions. For all types, the IO-Link interface is used to retrieve code and text data. To ensure efficient operation, data with a size greater than 32 bytes is automatically divided into blocks and transmitted using the fast COM3 standard. Data blocks are separated with an adjustable hold time, which eliminates the need for special function blocks in the control program.
