During the development of PROFINET devices, developers and system testers have extensively used the continuously expanded Automated RT tester (ART tester) from PI. It increases the quality and speed of developing a new product due to its parallel use by the globally accredited PI Test Labs during certification testing.
We have reached another key milestone: PROFINET specification 2.4 has officially been completed. The new specification includes TSN capabilities and is the first TSN version of an open industrial communication standard! The full document is free to download for all PI members.
