In this edition of Regional News, PI UK, PI Japan, and PI Netherlands share their upcoming events and activities. PI UK will hold a seminar on PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and IO-Link; PI Netherlands is excited to announce their PROFIday event; PI Japan will host their 19th PROFINET Open Seminar オ online.
Three Regional PI Associations (RPAs) announce news this month. PI China participated in the CIIF tradeshow in Shanghai in September; PI Brazil has hosted multiple webinars over the past few months; and PI Netherlands recently put on a successful PROFI education week.
The UK had two events, one focusing on factory automation and one on process automation. In the Netherlands, an Industrial Ethernet event themed "Linking People, Companies, and Machinery" was held.
In Brazil, more seminars have been hosted at AmBev as the company rolls out its standardization on PROFIBUS and PROFINET. Meanwhile, Australia prepares for the 2016 PI Global Forum and Automation Innovation Summit, to be held on May 25th. In the Netherlands, an Industrial Communication seminar is scheduled for June 9th in the port city of Rotterdam.
The month of June is shaping up to be a busy month for training. Find an event in your area and increase your expertise in PROFIBUS, PROFINET, or both! Free and paid classes are available, catering to varying levels of experience. In Germany there will be a plugfest and PROFINET workshops. In North America, free PROFINET training classes continue.
