PROFINET is gaining market share in the Japanese market, and the demand for deeper knowledge in the technology is growing. As such, the Japanese PROFIBUS Organization (JPO) is gearing up for a big year with new documentation, trainings, and a special event in May.

PROFINET Design Guideline Translated into Japanese

The JPO is supporting Japanese engineers that are designing PROFINET systems with a new PROFINET Design Guideline. The goal is to make network layout smooth and smart by directly addressing frequently asked questions and topics.  JPO had translated the PROFIBUS Commissioning and Assembling Guidelines into Japanese language in the past. Furthermore, JPO plans to translate the other PROFINET Guidelines in 2018.

Additionally, JPO will host a special thought-leadership seminar to mark the occasion and invite local colleagues to discuss the latest topics in industrial networking.
