Live Webinar: PROFINET Optional Features
All PROFINET products are developed according to international standards and certified by the PROFIBUS and PROFINET International (PI) organization. Aside from the mandatory characteristics in each conformance class, PI defines a list of optional features. These features are not required in all PROFINET devices; nonetheless, they can provide tremendous added value. From an end-user perspective, PROFINET optional features add functionality, such as increased redundancy, remote access, and extended device information.
