IO-Link User Workshop
What all does IO-Link have to offer? With its simple, cost-effective point-to-point technology, the IO-Link standard enables many new application possibilities in automation. A wide range of innovative products are available to the end user, enabling a wide variety of sensor and control functions, parameterization and diagnostic options. IO-Link Safety, IO-Link Wireless and IO-Link+ complement the conventional IO-Link transmission technology. Thus, the continuous communication IO-Link from the sensor to the cloud provides the basis for groundbreaking Industry 4.0 concepts.

The workshop will be complemented by a large Microfair with 28 exhibitors, here you will find the concentrated IO-Link competence and certainly also a product or solution for your plant. This event will be co-located with a PI event focusing on Digital Transformation, including OPC UA, TSN, security, SPE and 5G topics.

IO-Link “Safety Certified Designer” Training Course
IO-Link Safety expands machines and systems automated with IO-Link to include functionally safe components and communication. The latest version of the IO-Link Safety specification (1.1.3) and version 1.1 of the associated test specification with protocol and functional tests build upon the successful base technology specifications in the IO-Link 2020 package.
An English-language “IO-Link Safety Certified Designer” training course will be held for interested participants from October 4 – 6, 2022 in Karlsruhe, Germany. This course is being organized together with the TÜV-SÜD assessment body and will award a personal TÜV certificate to each participant who passes the test.
A participation fee of 500 Euros is charged for the course.

IO-Link Interop Workshop
Do you have new IO-Link products and would like to test them in advance? The Interop Workshop on October 11+12, 2022 in Bad Soden (close to Frankfurt Airport, Germany) offers you a good opportunity to do so. The workshop is an open platform to test your devices or tools in interaction with other available products. In addition to the workshop, experts will be available for advice and discussion on specific topics, such as “Test Systems”, “Profiles and System Integration” or “Data Storage”.
A participation fee of €190.00 (plus VAT) will be raised for attending the Interop workshop. For organizational reasons, please register in good time.
