The Japanese PROFIBUS Organization (JPO) joined IIFES2019, the largest automation fair in Japan, from Nov. 27 through 29, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. About 50,000 people visited the fair over three days. Also there is upcoming training in Belgium, The Netherlands, the United States, and Singapore.
Under the new name 'Smart Production Solutions', SPS Fair 2019 was again a big success. The name change reflects the ongoing digital transformation and therefore the convergence of IT and OT. Many IT companies appeared at the fair to showcase their IoT solutions. It was a perfect setup for PI and our booth.
