The new “Cobre Panamá” project by Minera Panamá S.A. in Colón, Panamá will produce 300,000 tons of copper, 100,000 oz of gold and 2,500 tons of molybdenum every year. On June 26th, PI UK and Endress+Hauser hosted a fruitful event in the city of Manchester. The seminar addressed key practical issues arising from the use of digital communications technologies in automated manufacturing and process industry applications.
It all started in 1994 when Endress + Hauser Italia, SAIA Burgess Italia, and Siemens Italia founded what is now known as "Consorzio Profibus e Profinet Italia". Enthusiasm in the PROFINET developer community’s well-established Plugfests continues to surprise us! Dozens of developers from different companies came together to test their new products. There was a special focus on testing redundancy features such as MRP, S2, and DR.
