After a nearly two-year break from trade fairs, PI is especially looking forward to its appearances in 2022. It will be represented with a stand (Hall 6/G34) at LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany from May 31 through June 2, 2022 for the first time, where it will be presenting the new omlox location-tracking standard.
New products this month include: PROFINET switches from eks Engel; safe PROFINET drives from KEB Automation; PROFIBUS and PROFIsafe PLC modules from Phoenix Contact; PROFINET peristaltic pumps from Watson-Marlow; PROFINET I/O modules and IO-Link power supplies from Turck; IO-Link function blocks from Leuze; and M12 D-coded connectors from Telegärtner.

PUMA opened a new European central warehouse in April 2021. The centerpiece is the shuttle system with over 700,000 storage locations. 24 lifters ensure the correct allocation of the shuttles. Like all other components of the intralogistics system, the lifters communicate with the higher-level controller via PROFINET.
Alongside development of the IO-Link Safety specification, technology provider companies have implemented testing systems for FS masters and FS devices, thereby ensuring a high level of maturity of test specification V1.1. Interop Workshops are planned for June 30 and October 20, 2022.
