The pandemic has been with us all for almost a year and a half now. Events based on networking, exchange, and interaction had to be digitalized in a very short time due to the necessary contact restrictions. This also applies to our user and technology workshops organized by the Regional PI Associations (RPAs).
PI reacted quickly and developed a digital workshop concept to reach the public interested in the technology. For example, the German Industrie 4.0 technology workshop planned by PNO for May 2020 was changed to a webinar. After only a short time, over 100 participants had registered. Also, other online workshops were also very well received and had excellent attendance.
As the demand for internationally oriented workshops on PI technologies is growing, PI has scheduled the first international PROFINET Technology Workshop.
All interested people are invited to the event, however the content is targeted towards device manufacturers, vendors, and product managers who are looking to implement a PROFINET interface into their products.
The PI International PROFINET Technology Workshop will take place for the first time on 28 September 2021.
A first session will take place from 8 – 11 am (ECT), and a second session with the same content will then be held in the afternoon from 5 – 8 pm (ECT). So, everyone around the world can have a chance to join the workshop.
