New Safety Switch with IO-Link

Euchner has announced its new CTS guard locking device. The result is a compact safety switch that produces a high locking force, is suitable for universal use in diverse installation orientations, and can be mounted in various ways thanks to its expanded IO-Link communication capabilities. Based on proven transponder technology, the CTS achieves category 4/PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1 and meets all the requirements of EN ISO 14119.

Radar Level Sensor with IO-Link

With the LW2720 level sensor from ifm, levels of liquid media in tanks with a height of up to 10 meters can be monitored precisely and without blind areas. The non-contact radar measuring principle prevents malfunctions or failures of the sensor caused by the adhesion of viscous media or damage from agitators. A standard M12 cable, fast parameter setting using IO-Link and a large selection of adapters enable simple and customized out of the box start-up.

Ultra-Compact Pressure Switches with IO-Link

KROHNE introduces OPTIBAR PSM 1010 and OPTIBAR PSM 2010 ultra-compact pressure switches for absolute and gauge pressure measurement in gases and liquids. The new switches feature a 2-axis (multi-rotatable) display and adjustment module, a robust construction (IP67), and fully configurable communication outputs for all possible configurations: IO-Link and PNP/NPN as standard I/O, and 4…20 mA, 0…10 V or NPN/PNP as secondary output.

Double Sheet Sensors with IO-Link

Reliable double material detection is easier than ever before with the new range of IO-Link double sheet sensors in an M18 or M30 design from Pepperl+Fuchs. An ultrasonic emitter and receiver continuously monitor the material flow using ultrasonic pulses. Changes in amplitude detect whether a second layer of material has been added. The IO-Link interface enables access to all sensor parameters, diagnostic data, and process data without additional wiring effort.

Compact I/O Hub with IO-Link

Push button boxes are used in numerous industrial applications. With their particularly compact design, the new CB10 series I/O hubs from Pepperl+Fuchs offer the optimal solution for direct integration into the smallest installation spaces. The CB10 modules can be connected directly to an IO-Link master and make push button boxes IO-Link-capable this way.

A Gripper That Can Do More

With the new PGL-plus-P, SCHUNK is introducing a gripper with increased safety. The pneumatic gripper is the first in the world to have certified safe gripping force maintenance. Thanks to its large jaw stroke of 10 to 25 mm per finger, users can handle a wide range of parts with just one gripper. The new gripper has a gripping force of 220 N in size 10 to 1300 N in size 25. An IO-Link interface is included by default.

Next-Generation Distance Sensor – An ‘All-Rounder’

SICK has launched its next-generation OD2000 distance sensor, combining high-precision reliability with outstanding economy to deliver a versatile ‘all-rounder’. The standalone, compact OD2000 has been developed to provide a universal product family with minimal variants. With IO-Link as standard, the OD2000 offers highly versatile machine integration possibilities, while providing for diagnostics and condition monitoring.

Next Generation Fiber Optic Sensors

SICK has launched its next generation WLL80 fiber optic sensors. The WLL80 fibre optic amplifier can be teamed with SICK’s new LLX portfolio of state-of-the-art fibers. Any length of flexible LLX fibres up to 20m can be specified alongside a versatile range of sensor heads. With IO-Link communication as standard, the WLL80 enables easy integration, reduces cabling, and ensures efficient and responsive machine control.
