Integrated Servo Motors Get More Torque
Advanced Micro Controls Inc. (AMCI) releases the SV400E2 Integrated Servo Motor, expanding the torque options available within the integrated servo family. The SV400E2 eliminates the need to purchase multiple components by incorporating a servo motor, drive, and controller in a single unit. The servo motor includes an integrated dual port switch with PROFINET connectivity.
Web Guiding System with PROFINET
Maxcess has unveiled the Fife-500 Max web guiding system. “We took the FIFE-500 and asked our customers what they wanted in a next-generation guiding system,” says Darren Irons, global product manager for Fife and MAGPOWR. “Our biggest takeaway was that our customers want robust networking options, like PROFINET. We were able to pack in these features at a lower price point as our previous FIFE-500.”
Scalable Motion Controls Support Safety Functions
Parker Hannifin has announced a pair of multi-axis motion controllers that combine machine logic, real-time motion control, safety functions and visualization in a scalable format. The PAC120 and PAC340 controllers offer differing memory capacities, CPU performance, communication options and CNC functions to suit automation projects involving motion, synchronization or positioning tasks. Both have built-in PROFINET connectivity.
Integrated TSN-Compliant 3-Port Gigabit Ethernet Chip
The RZ/N2L from Renesas is an Ethernet communication microprocessor (MPU) that enables customers to easily implement industrial Ethernet and TSN in various IoT and industrial applications like drives, gateways, remote IO and more. RZ/N2L has functions such as an advanced 3-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with TSN, and supports major industrial Ethernet protocols such as PROFINET.
Vacuum Manifold for PROFINET
SMC announces the ZKJ Series vacuum manifold with PROFINET Fieldbus-compatible connectivity. It requires no input/output unit, thereby saving space and reducing wiring time. The energy saving ejector reduces air consumption by 90%. An N.O. specification on the supply valve can hold vacuum even when the power goes out or is turned off (supposing the supply pressure is being maintained).
Compact Field-Installable RJ45-Plug for PROFINET
Telegärtner’s MFP8-SL connector is an exceptionally compact field-installable RJ45 plug. Just 44 millimetrers in length and installed in less than 60 seconds without any special tools, the MFP8-SL is the perfect choice wherever space and installation time are at a premium. It is available with PROFINET pin assignment and also in Category 6A T568A and T568B versions for Ethernet.
